Maybe some saw the season finale of the 22 simpsons season yesterday.
The episode was actually pretty decent, nothing special but funny indeed.
Anyway, in that episode Edna Krabbapel
and Flanders end up being a couple and at the end credits Marge and Homer tell you that you are able to vote if for or against the relationship.
In the next season they will part if it is voted so or stay together.
Did any of you vote for that? If yes, what did you vote?
My first thougth was that the relationship didn't add to much to the episodes comedy factor so i vote "No". But i'am not quite sure yet.

Here is the link for the voting: http://www.thesimpsons.com/nedna/

Really? So...has there been an episode where Marge is a robot yet? ::waits for Syd and maybe Jeebus to be the only ones who get that::

I had the TV on, didn't really watch the episode too attentively, but holy shit the instant I realized that they were serious about the voting thing, I just lost all hope for the show.

We should get to vote as to who dies, Rod or Todd.

The show should end with like a gas leak that kills the entire household or something like that, just end on a really bad note.

No, but an elephant. And yeah, he's been almost married.

Twice.

...wow, they're scraping the bottom of the soup tureen.

Anyone else ever wonder what's up with that disappearing rumpus room and how the basement isn't always the basement? Is it a homage to the recycled backgrounds of earlier animation, is it inconsistency?

I think it's just convenience to the plot/they don't care anymore.

They have stated in the commentaries that it is whatever it needs to be for the plot.

When KB built a replica of the Simpson house and gave it away as a contest, I remember wondering if the basement and other rarely seen rooms were part of the floor plan.

There should be a option to vote for a nuke to hit Springfield, effectively ending the show.

And have Peggy Hill somehow be there, too, because she is awful.

I know most Simpsons enthusiasts hate the new episodes and if you would talk to me 2 years ago i wouldn't be any other opinion. It took some time to get used to them but now i have to say that i like the new episodes, in a different way then the classic episodes, but still.

The movie already covered that, or at least a high-power explosive.
