The movement system in this game looks awesome. In many ways, it reminds me of Half Life 2, but with character growth and the ability to physically use the environment a lot more.

I'll probably give it a rental at first, but it's starting to come into its own. The S.M.A.R.T. System sounds pretty rad too.

At 1:20 it looks like a Combine Soldier running to train.
It looks pretty, but I'm not digging it yet... maybe if they released a demo of it, I'd be down for trying it

mine too. tf 2 is very popular though, so it's no wonder that it influences the game industry...

One thing I'm still confused about is the single-player. Is it going to be story-driven, with each mission progressing through a plot, or is it just offline multiplayer? Either way, the multiplayer looks cool (reminds me of Enemy Territory), and I may pick it up if it gets a good following.

So here's to you Mrs. Robinson. People love you more- oh, nevermind. |

I will probably pick this up down the road, though two of my buddies are going to get it pretty soon.
The gameplay looks alright; the parkour stands out for me, at least.

Either the reviewer from 1UP was honest and the rating reflects that, or he is a little too bitter about the game's condition. Fans seem to like it and most other critics seem to think it is worthy of a C+/B- rating. Additionally most ratings are for the XboX. Full reports haven't really been made yet.

yeah, i saw that after the fact. so, hopefully the final PC/PS3 build is better than this early release crap

I don't think the game was intended to have an outstanding single player experience, it seemed to say from the get go that it was a class based multiplayer game. If that is your thing, then I guess you can't go wrong.

My buds who bought the game realize they've only played the game for one day, but so far they've said it didn't feel worth $60. One specifically commented on how the game design felt pretty backwards in terms of how you unlock goods for online multiplayer.
