Unfortunately I know about this show only because I live with females, however it's apparently a show where tweens sing their versions of already popular songs. I have to say it's a horrendous atrocity. I heard them sing (I mean rape) a Journey song that was so fucking bad it actually made the real Journey seem listenable by comparison. But this version sounded like a combination of Miley Cyrus and hepatitis B.

I don't watch glee and didn't know what you were referring to, but was it this?
If it was then yes, that is indeed from planet bullshit, in the galaxy of sucks camel dicks.
But don't talk shit about the original Don't Stop Believing, don't do that.

The show is evil, my (female) roommate was watching some awhile back and I ended getting too into it. I became everything I hated!

... I like it. It's not all ripping songs apart, and they do good jobs sometimes. Just because they tamper with your favorites doesn't mean you have to hate them for it.

I do hate them for the Rocky Horror episode though.

It's not that they tamper with my favorites. Matter of fact I don't even recognize half the songs they're destroying. It's just that the singing itself is just plain awful, like the show.
For the record I don't actually 'hate' Journey, it's just that I ripped on them a little because I find them to be a little overrated.

Oh dear God, this is the one and only episode I ever saw. They completely tore apart everything that made Rocky Horror a so bad, it's good sort of thing and we were left with nothing but the unaging John Stamos singing a censored version of one of the songs from Rocky Horror.

I can't say much about the show because I've never watched it. I detest Jane Lynch though. It was my understanding that comediennes were supposed to be funny.

She's actually pretty enjoyable in it. She's evil as all hell and plotting the downfall of the Glee coach (is that the correct term? Who the hell knows...) at least from what episodes I've seen.

I hate what they did to "Don't Stop Believing".... and in fact, the main girl singer is the audio equivalent of gargling shards of glass....
Other than those two things... meh... it's watchable. I don't ever bring it up in conversation, though.

My wife tortures me with this once in a while as I get home from martial arts... it ruins the entire mood. I get home all pumped from kicking and punching shit and then have to listen to this awful crap.

It's difficult for me, because sometimes the show has really great actors (I specifically point to Mike O'Malley, who'd have figured the guy's actually got gravitas?); it definitely has eye candy (Britney and Santana, whatever their real names are I don't know) and the people on there can sing pretty well. The bad part is that, for whatever reason, there's not really any followthrough with half of what they do in terms of storylines. It's like they come up with a good idea and say, "Well, we hinted at it, let's never deal with it again." A lot of it seems like slapdash fanservice, and it's kind of irritating.
[SPOILER:76f10f10dc]My understanding is that for their 'prom' episode, the one that was leaked, a returning student (Kurt Hummel) who is gay will be made prom queen and a closeted gay football player who threatened to kill him (thus, causing him to leave schools initially) is made prom king. How in the bloody flying fuck could that be considered a wise idea in any stretch of the imagination?[/SPOILER:76f10f10dc]

But in all seriousness, I have no real answer to your question, but I can almost assure you that the episode will have nothing to do with that.
[SPOILER:39a8375af4]That being said, the gay community will be all over the creators and Fox for this episode. [/SPOILER:39a8375af4]

I never watched this and i'am not planing on it, it doesn't get me interested. Glee, the name only makes me wanna puke. And "Don't Stop Believing" is a awesome song! I don't care for the Glee version, that guy should just suck his own dick.

In regards to the whole drama and spoiler tags about gaiety, my opinion is that either they thought drama would draw ratings from the offended masses of political correctness , or they thought that people were inundated with their own partie's rhetoric to the point that complaining would be old hat so to speak, and thus ignored the whole thing. Your mileage may vary///

They can consist of single females that thought at one point they could actually sing...
