And when I did get punched, a kid that I had no idea who it was came over and launched the punk the hit me. It was glorious

Exactly. The only thing more glorious would be if you did it yourself, but I can understand why you didn't.
This is going to be the highlight of that kid's life. After all the insults and degradation, do you thing that anything in the world could have felt more invigorating and uplifting than when he finally smashed that little shit? I guarantee you that kid felt fucking ALIVE, motherfucker! Winning!
The problem with the western world today is that there's no longer any penalty attached to being an obnoxious, victimizing asshole. There needs to be.

What gets me is that follow up video posted with the bully, where he turns himself into the victim. "He hit me first." Yeah, that's exactly what the video and his actions showed. I know when I got bullied back in elementary school, I threw a punch to someone's face, then did the little martial arts jump walk.
You know, if the kid had sincerely apologized and left it at that, I would have felt bad for him, but still felt like he got what he deserved. But, no, he tries to make himself the victim to elicit cheap sympathy. Fuck that kid.
