We were talking about scary things on the chatroom recently, as in creepypastas and videos and so on and so forth, and that got me thinking: What do you consider scary? What video/pictures have you seen on the internet that made you check under your bed later that day?
Please link all examples "I saw this pic teh other day OMGZ it wus so scarey!" doesn't really mean anything
Also, let's be civilized about it, no screamers, or at least a friendly warning beforehand
Slightly relevant video, though not really scary at all:

Well the first thing I'll mention is Marble Hornets. It takes the Slenderman character and puts him in the life of a guy trying to find out what happened to his friend. It's so far the better Slenderman stories going on currently.
Here are my two favorite episodes

History is made by stupid people,
Clever people wouldn't even try.

Heh, that Haunted Maj. Mask story scared me a bit when I first read it.
Also, why are the best IRC discussions brought up while I am asleep?

Dude. I know right?
Hm. Videos don't tend to creep me out much. I could tell you all about short stories that have (or novels, but short stories tend to do a better job with the creepy.)
I guess in terms of internet stuff, the one I found the creepiest would have to be:
This is the music discussed in the story, for effect:
Very much in the vein of Haunted Majora's Mask, and probably just as unreal, but I find this far more believable and therefore more creepy. (Bear in mind too that this hit the net many years ago, before any talk of a REAL Pokemon Black game existed.)
Also: I know I didn't experience it, but I don't quite get the whole hotel/little girl thing. I mean, it might startle me, but some of those people's reactions were just over the top.

Lovely. Now I will have that Lavender Town song in my head all the time! It will haunt my dreams! But I can't stop listening!

According to Wikipedia (and this is the German Wikipedia I'm talking about, nothing in English, Spanish or Portuguese), that dude just shook it off and was back in the field in a week. Seems he had some severe spasms or something o.O
