Yeah, that guy is 100% right. I am so sick to death of Star Wars...it's beyond a parody of itself anymore.

I think one of the reasons those movies worked so well for me growing up, was that for the most part during the early 90's, no one really talked about Star Wars that much. Indiana Jones was fresher in people's minds, so when they went to make an obvious joke, they'd pull it from there instead. Now it's all about adding Darth Vader or fucking lightsabers to everything.

I learned a long time ago, it is far more fun to play the villain than the hero.

I think more of us can relate to villains than heroes. You know why? Because the villain always loses, JUST LIKE IN YOUR REAL LIFE.

But when the villain does win, it's epic.

I like the Groupon commercials. They're in poor taste, but that's what makes them awesome.

YES. This guy is on the mark completely.

Also, consider this: why is this kid emulating Darth Vader instead of Han or Luke? It is probably because he gets picked on at school, and he feels that Vader's methods are more befitting to be inflicted on his enemies. By encouraging this behaviour, the father is encouraging his son to act out in unhealthy ways that border on sociopathic. I imagine that similar scenes played out in the lives of Klebold and Harris.

Also, emboldening your son by deluding him into believing he has superhuman powers is only going to lead to more beatings for him at school.

Ash Burton=Marge Simpson. I liked it, but hey I worked for VW for a bit and I love their cars. Also, I have a kid now, so things appear more cute to me. I'm not into picking things apart so much anymore, unless its that silly Republican party.

I liked the cute Darth Vader commercial too.

My favorites though were the Doritos one where the dead grandpa was ressurected using Dortios dust, the sitcoms, the car commercial in the nursing home where none of the old people could hear the TV and were yelling at each other, and the Pepsi Max one where the guy was out to dinner with a woman and thinking only about sex and Pepsi Max.

There were definitely some duds from companies trying way too hard, like GoDaddy. It's a fucking domain name/web hosting service and the commercials make it out to be some kind of brothel. And how many god damn times did Fox need to advertise Glee? I think 20 commercials over 2 hours is plenty fellas. We get it, everyone loves crotchety lesbians and singing teenagers.

The commerical was amusing the first few times...now it's a matter of how long it's going to be shown, and how many times I will see it randomly with people asking "Oh, have you seen this? It's cute."

Also, I'm glad I am not the only one that wonders why people think Jane Lynch is funny.
