It's pretty clear cut. It was addressed to her husband and she signed it, having worked for the post office before I know that he cannot take it back after she signed for it, like she asks him to do. Then she proceeds to go bat shit crazy on the poor dude and judging from part 2 of the video, assaults him. No matter how minor that assault may have been (she's an old crazy frail lady, it couldn't have hurt) she shouldn't get away with this with no punishment.

Oh, and she throws the N word around like it's a baseball and then tries to justify the use of it and pretend she isn't racist.

I heard this on the radio this morning, and I actually heard that he was fired for this incident.

I haven't been able to figure out what he was fired for, was it the video taping (illegal in MA) or the woman's dissatisfaction?

Obviously the woman is the larger of the two evils in this case. In the end people like here always get there comeuppance.

Mam, I don't want to hear that story. I don't know if this is fake or real, I guess he couldn't safely drive off without potentially hurting, if he started to drive slowly she would have backed off. I'm confused if she wanted to return something why didn't she just throw it in his car and walk away (make me think it's fake.) Then again what in the world is she asking for back?

She has some messed up views. There may be some truth in the education quality in poorer neighborhoods, thus leading to worse scores on standardized tests, just ridiculous what she's saying.

It is pretty crazy. I've heard more people talking shit about him "OMG, you can't film secretly like that" and largely ignoring the fact that she was abusive and yelling racist rants at a government employee. If he was fired for filming, I have no problem with that because it was against the law. If he was fired simply for her dissatisfaction, then I do because she was obviously in the wrong about this.

And GP is right. Mass. is a two party consent state so that video is not admissable in court.

But did he even try to show the tape to his employers? If he didn't, that's dumb on his part but if he DID and they still fired him than that is beyond lame. Where is this town and how do I avoid it?

And just the other day my 15 year old cousin decided to enlighten me as to the differences between "blacks and N*****s." This from a kid who openly told a black classmate bothering her "I wish MLK had never been born so I wouldn't have to deal with you in the first place."

That woman really started to make less sense in video two. Near the end I think she went on about some 'black school' or something.

Makes what the woman said sound right in her area for him to get fired for this incident. Can't believe he got fired for that, even if he did show them the tape, that'd be all the more reason to keep him, he acted very well considering the circumstance.

I also learned that he decided not to press charges. That shows massive restraint and more maturity than that woman could ever have.

I do feel bad that she's getting threated by random 4channers and the like who don't know the details about the case, but the woman is clearly not right in the head. She doesn't deserve death threats for being a racist suburbanite, which I'm positive is not rare.

The woman's not racist, she's just insane.

I know quite a few racists, they're not people you would agree with but they're quite sane. And logical, too. They don't talk anything like this nutjob.

Total bullshit if the guy got fired for that, though. I always thought it was impossible to get fired from the Post Office, considering the kind of "customer service" I receive when I have to deal with them.

Just now saw this...and wow...lady is absolutely crazy. I don't know why people think they can have these powertrips because they know the people doing their job are helpless to defend themselves. I've been there before, I hate people like this.

That said...I think the guy sort of milked it, no offense. I mean he should've driven away once she started with the names, but he even stuck around after she physically assaulted him. Guy, there's no reason to try to get answers out of a crazy woman, just be on your way.

And I approve of every mail carrier having cameras, like cops.

I think he could've explained to her at the very beginning that he wasn't allowed to take it, but I was surprised by how quickly she went batshit insane. I loathe racists. Sad

Well, probably not. That lady is sincerely warped. I thought she was going to go get her combat boots for an American History X reenactment during the second video.
