This is an interesting URL shortener.

You enter a URL, then snip a quote and finally receive a shortened URL that pushes the page with a focus on the quote you snipped.

Interesting, perhaps it is un-Lybian for them to even agree to the domain being called .ly

I mean... their official language is Arabic, I haven't seen a L or Y in that alphabet.

Apparently the country is called Libya. Or, if you wanna be formal, the "Great Socialist People's Libyan Arab Jamahiriya". Or "الجماهيرية العربية الليبية الشعبية الإشتراكية العظمى". Romanized, though, there are absolutely some y's and l's in there.

I always found it weird how a country's personal internet domain code is now a salable resource, and the good ones are apparently based upon luck. I read that by selling the rights to .tv, Tuvalu was able to join the UN. If they had been .tu or something, they'd be SOL
