I love Danzig, but he's got a big ego. Staring at his face the whole video is not as bad as the fact that his bands name is his last name. Misfits might have been a little more primitive music wise, but damn was it the perfect name for a band.

I was being silly. My point is that he had a reputation for being a dick and slightly conceited well before he went solo, thus my point of "I wanna have my own band named me". Also, other than GN'R, Dokken, Dio and Van Halen, those other bands you listed are mediocre, if not terrible.
