I think when you're The Simpsons, you can pretty much get away with anything you want.

Also...c'mon...the "third world workers making the Simpsons" thing was so absurdly over the top it was hilarious. Also has some truth to it (in that I'm sure a lot of Simpsons merchandise is made in the third world), which all of the best comedy does.

This is a true story. Last Saturday, I went into the convenience store down the street from me wearing a Transformers G1 t-shirt and the Korean guy behind the counter looked at it in disgust. I am 95% sure this was because his ancestors were forced to animate Transformers G1 for 25 cents an hour.
