While there are a lot of crappy stop motion videos on the web, every once in a while a good one appears.

That's the problem with stop motion. It looks like a lot of work for very little pay off.

This one is a little more popular. It doesn't seem as cool, but when you remember that for each frame he had to set himself up to take the picture and that the scene doesn't match the action... this is pretty damn impressive. It must have taken a very long time.

Internet fame is always worth it, especially when there's a chance when your video will appear on the news.

For that first video, I bet he moved the lit ones around when he could, or maybe even had extra lit candles off-screen to use, because I've dealt with those little candles before and they smolder and smoke like hell when you put them out. Then again, he may have had a better method for extinguishing those.

Another very popular one.
This one reminds me that the other day when I woke up my wife asked me if everything was ok. I said yes but that I didn't understand why she was asking. She proceeded to show me my pillow case. I had shredded it during the evening. I mean, it looked like Wolverine or Edward Scissor hands went to town on the thing.

This has always been one of my favorite stop motion video. From the music to the quirky little story its just overall really entertaining to watch.
I've actually only seen one of those videos before.. and it was my least favorite. I'm trying to figure out how they pull off all of their features. The guy whose brushing his teeth as he goes backwards through a work-place. Obvious him reversing a video of him brushing his teeth, but i'm guessing he just super-imposes himself in the new setting, which obviuosly was really film and simultanously reversed.
