Well... just bought tickets to see Muse (for the second time this year). Although I like a LOT of different types of music, I have to say I haven't had a band that I've been as big a fan since I started listening to the Foo Fighters in 96 or so.
I've been listening to Muse since about 02-03, and I get more amped about their music every time I listen to it
I mean hell, this band can straight up rock like this....
...to bringing in multiple-part symphonies to make really beautiful music, like my favorite song of the moment...
Anyway, more to the point... any other Muse fans out there? Haters? I'm just stoked about another Muse concert in a few months
Thou, because I am wroth, be not dismayed, for I shall win the strife, whoever circle round within for the defence. This their insolence is not new, for of old they used it at a less secret gate, which still is found without a bolt. Above it thou didst see the dead inscription; and already on this side of it
descends the steep, passing without escort through the circles,
One such that by him the city shall be opened to us.

I love Muse and have for about as long as you. It was actually some random British chick on some forum that introduced me to 'Plug In Baby' which remains one of my favorite songs ever. Great, great band, and I'd love to see them live.
I liked Knights of Cydonia in GH3. I bought the Black Holes & Revelations album off that, and it's pretty solid. Haven't heard much of their other stuff.
They are hit or miss for me, and some of their songs are repetitive. As a poser, my favorite Muse song is 'Take a Bow', probably because it was in the Watchmen trailer.
For those of you who have said that you've liked what you've heard but haven't heard much... allow me to add to the Muse fellatio. Here's a few of my favorite songs they've done... The first two are on the more popular side. The other two you probably wouldn't have heard of unless you have the album they appear on.

I like Muse. I was first introduced to them through "Knights of Cydonia" appearing in Guitar Hero 3. "Assassin" is my favorite song of theirs and was included in Guitar Hero World Tour. I was going to see them last month, but it was cancelled because they got stuck in the weather. They are coming back out here on October 2nd and have promised to "Make it up to us".
Muse is epic! They came through Edmonton and our news papers totally shit on them which was unfair, Muse did a flawless job in Edmonton, easily one of the top 4 concerts ive ever seen.
Let's assume it's a mixture of the two!

They're not bad. Put it this way, I don't actively avoid listening to them, and when they come on the radio, I'll listen. Not really a band that I would go and see, although I considered going to see them the last time they were out this way so I could see Silversun Pickups and bail, just like I did when Bad Religion opened for Blink 182 in Philly... what, like a decade ago? Crap.
Who likes role-playing games? Me. Way too goddamn much.

This exactly, but I like it anyways.
I think it's because most fans say they're the best thing since I Cannot Believe It's Not Butter.

I hate about 85% of Muse's music. I absolutely love the other 15%. I respect their talent, either way.
So here's to you Mrs. Robinson. People love you more- oh, nevermind.

I LOATHEEEEE Muse.
Well maybe that's a bit strong. All is good except the vocals which i hate with a passion.
Bellamy does this same fucking vocal melody in EVERY song they have and it pisses me the fuck off.
