Ding-ding-ding!!! Got it! My personal favorite Coheed and Cambria song, except for maybe "Time Consumer" or "In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3" or "A Favor House Atlantic" or "God Send Conspirator" or...ah, you get the picture. Your turn.
I still want to see someone figure out #1.

I'm drawing a blank, sounds familiar, maybe put up another clip of a different part of the song?

My inner jerk is so tempted to post a video containing one chord.

I had the same thought kind of, except one note instead of a chord, that's way too generous

I'd just guess it was a Sunn O))) song.
It's been almost a week, so I'll explain my joke. The song was "The Frayed Ends of Sanity", off Metallica's "...And Justice for All" album. The joke is that the bass is mixed so low on the album you can't actually hear it. Hence why I'm unplugged.

I know I recognize that riff. I swear I'll get this one, once I get home to do some research.

I'd play more of the song, but thats all I know
HINTS
1. It was released in 2003
EDIT: I put three man at first, its a four man band. 2. It's by a four man band that changes style a lot, who just released an album in october
3. The part I played was the intro

Well that rules out Iron Maiden, then. My first thought was "Reincarnation of Benjamin Breeg" which I quickly found out was not correct.

You confused me so much by saying 3-man band, argggh.
Okay the hunt continues.
Just to make sure:
1. The band had four members in 2003?
2. The band has four members now?
3. They released an album, for sure, in October 2009?
4. The song, for sure, was released in 2003? As a single, part of a full album, or both?

Its Death Of Seasons by AFI. Gimme a bit and I'll post one I know somebody has to get.
EDIT: Nevermind, my sister's screaming at me every time I try to play and my camera can't pick up the sound from headphones. So I pass my turn to whoever.

'Black Sabbath", Black Sabbath, from the album, "Black Sabbath". I thought it was something Iommi-ish from the first clip but wasn't sure until I saw the last one.
