The new Boondocks was underwhelming as well, but that's for a seperate thread. |

I haven't had a chance to watch The Boondocks in ages.
I remember the MLK episode. That was excellent.

I have to agree with your assessment username. Next ep will hopefully be funnier than the first two.

I havent been keeping up but saw the kickball episode, made me giggle here and there, but not like some of the old ones. Are all the episodes 30 min now or did that start a while back?

The latest one was decent, I laughed a good bit at a few parts.

The candy bar hustle ep was great, but I noticed they changed voice actors for Jasmine.

The show has more....Anime/Comic strip feel to it compared to seasons 1 & 2. The cigarette episode was classic through.
Rumor time: This is the last season?

When I saw bits and pieces from that episode, I seem to have called it that it was inspired by this (http://kotaku.com/168720/8-year+old-kid-steals-car-loves-gta ). Referencing The Exorcist was a nice touch.

How did they retire Huey? I'm not sure which ep numbers I've seen so maybe I haven't gotten their yet, but he's been in all the episodes I saw so far.

the first episode of season 3 was directed mock-umentary style. the interviewer asks huey what he thinks about obama being elected president. he tells the reporter he is retired from all terrorist activities. w/that revelation, it seems as though the new season just kind of wants to ignore huey.
i understand hes not the most interesting character (thats Uncle Ruckus... no relation) but i always liked Huey.

I actually did think Huey was the most interesting character, followed by Grandpa Freeman. Riley is hilarious, but he's also largely one dimensional.

Considering the intended target audience, I wouldn't be surprised that Huey would be considered the least interesting character.
And yes, I went there...

Of course he is; I'm just sarcastic about his apparent decline in the animated series.
