They were interviewed on G4 last night, they said it took "a trillion takes".

Well, I figured it wasn't done on the first take, but I guess it was all filmed in a single take as opposed to splicing together several different takes.
That begs the question though, did they smash "a trillion" televisions sets with that sledgehammer?

Imagine smashing nine hundred ninety-nine billion nine hundred ninety-nine million nine hundred ninety-nine thousand nine hundred ninety-nine tv's and then saying, "well get it on the next take."
