HOLY HAIRY BALLS!

I did not think it was possible after 5 years of waiting (well, 19 if you want to be technical) for an album to kick this much fucking ass.

If you consider yourself a self respecting fan of metal, you should already have this album.

"But JRA, Lamb of God vocals are totally fucking lame!!" Guess what, this album doesn't have any! Observe the dulcet tones of David White, who sounded friggin great on the demo, but here he brought his A+ game, even on the goddamn ballads! Folks, "A Hero's Welcome" is how extreme (assuming you call thrash metal extreme metal) metal bands should be doing ballads.

Assuming you are one of those individuals who have no idea what I'm talking about, observe what you have been missing:

The only Heathen album I've heard is "Victims of Deception"', and I thought it was "OK". It seemed to suffer from the "long thrash" syndrome that plagued Dark Angel on "Time Does Not Heal" and sounded like Metallica's "...And Justice for All" with better production and a higher-pitched vocalist. "Guitarmony" was a sweet track, though.
