With the 20th season starting tomorrow a little discussion is in order.

I have to say Im pretty excited for this season, its pretty cool to see the few people you liked from each season all in one.
With that said, they seem to be repeating the process of bringing old contestants back again.

I loved last season, mostly for Russell finding all those idols without a clue. The show itself is really entertaining.

Yep, I can't wait. I've been a huge Survivor fan since Season 3 and this one will be great. I hope they don't all gun for Russell immediately because of his reputation. That kind of happened in the last "All-Stars" season where people came in already knowing who the strongest, hardest players were and knocked them out first.
It's much harder to keep secrets the second time around when everyone knows you.
Can't wait to see Rupert again though. That guy is awesome. So awesome in fact, this is his third go-around on Survivor.

It's two seasons per year or so. Only 10 years I guess.

That was a good episode, with all the interesting people it feels a lot more like an ensemble.

Yeah, that episode was totally awesome. I'm actually taking a liking to Boston Rob, Russell and James the most. Coach is good entertainment, but I kind of loathe his personality and playing style. I think they did the right thing by kicking whats her face off. She was kind of a non person, in my opinion. Also, I feel bad for Rupert's toe.

Aligning with coach was definitely a good Russel move. Probably the most easily manipulated person on the villains tribe.

I know. As for the Heroes, JT and James are two of the least likable people I have ever seen on this show, I'm tired of even hearing them talk. Now that Tom is gone, I don't give a fuck about that squad at all.

Sorry, that was my JT impression.

Yeah, Rob seems like good people. They heroes have just been giant douchebags this whole game.

Also, Coach crying was fucking great. I like him because he's entertaining to watch. Hell no I don't want him to win, but I want him to stick around long enough to be entertaining. When he was doing his lame tai chi or whatever on the beach, the old lady laughed and was like "look, coach is doing his Cry Chi again."

Two week bump and double post because the last episode was the greatest I have seen so far of this season. Boston Rob keeps thinking he's smarter than Russell, but it has bit him in the ass pretty hard now. I didn't mind Tyson so it sucks he left instead of someone who was actually annoying but I was actually glad to see James leave, as he is damn near useless to the tribe. I expect the merge to happen either next episode or the one after.

That was one of the best episodes in a while. I love watching Rob and Russell, so I'm glad they're both still alive and kicking...and butting heads. I hope they both make it to the merge so some real shit can go down.
I always pegged Tyson as a little smarter than he showed there. He got sweet-talked into cutting his own throat. Bee-you-tiful move by Russell.

Damn shame, the better call would have been to lose courtney.

Yeah, Rob probably should have seen the writing on the wall (and I think he did) and tried to appease Coach by taking out a weak player. But I still don't think he would have had the numbers because Jerri's dumb ass wanted to side with Russell for some reason.
Russell can definitely sweet talk anyone. Two weeks ago I never would have thought Rob would be gone before Russell. The dude can play.

Russell only seems to have the short game in mind. In the long game he just pissed off the first jury member.

Well Russell voted for Courtney, I'm not sure if Coach knows that or not. Do you ever watch any of the Ponderosa episodes they do online? The 10 or 15 minute episodes that show what the jury members do and talk about at the Ponderosa after they are voted off? Really entertaining.

Man, last nights episode was boss. I don't really think JT understands what he just did. You can't try to befriend Russell, did these people not watch last season?

I brought that up elsewhere and the new season was filmed pretty much right after the last one ended so they didn't really have the chance.
