I have seen commercials for this show for weeks and not a single second of the spot made me laugh. It's unfortunate because King of the Hill was the only thing Mike Judge ever did that made me laugh, and it looks like that will remain so. Discuss.

I have it on my DVR, but I haven't watched it yet. I'm guessing from the previews this is loosely based off Van Driessen from Beavis and Butthead, just like Hank Hill was loosely based off Mr. Anderson. There is very little Mike Judge has done that I didn't enjoy, so I am sure will enjoy it.

It looked ok but I haven't seen it. Seems like kind of a weak premise for a long running show though. Maybe after it's over, Mike Judge will start working on another Beavis and Butthead movie.

It was pretty funny. It made fun of annoying high minded liberals the way King of the Hill made fun of simple Texas folk.

I thought Idiocracy was pretty terrible. Don't get me wrong, the premise was great, and I wouldn't be surprised if it's basically a spot-on image of our future as a whole, but it was just really, really boring. But at least Maya Rudolph looked pretty hot in it.

But my opinion of Judge will always be positive because of Beavis and Butthead and Office Space.

Office Space was OK, I just don't masturbate about it like most pop culture enthusiasts do. Nothing else he ever did appealed to me. Beavis and Butthead made me chuckle some of course, but I wouldn't watch it on purpose now that I'm an adult.

Yeah, it looked pretty good. It was one of those movies that just slipped by me.

i want bobby hill to suffer a pain worse than death. but seriously, comedy central says it will relaunch the goode family, but let us not forget the promise they made of new futurama episodes, which turned out to be all 4 straight to dvd movies into 30 minute episodes and then proceded to can futurama. shame on you comedy central.

Where did you hear that they are canning Futurama? The last news I heard was that Comedy Central had a contract for 26 new episodes later this year. I also read they are dropping the movie format as well and doing single episodes.
