Now only two remain. It's time to decide.
Futurama destroyed Tom and Jerry, The Tick, Dragon Ball, The Powerpuff Girls, Tiny Toons, Family Guy, Space Ghost, and Animaniacs on it's way to the final round.
Looney Tunes cut a path through Scooby Doo, Aladdin, Garfield, He-Man, King of the Hell, Ren and Stimpy, Batman, and The Simpsons to make it here.
So choose which will be crowned the BEST EVER!
(or best until some other group decides to do this, anyways)

Futurama beat The Tick? Improbable! If only I was a few weeks earlier. Of these two, Futurama wins, no contest.

Unless you're about 20 people, Futurama still had that one handily.

Futurama single handedly got me through some tough times after I moved away from the US, so I have to give it the nod here.

Looney Tunes had a MUCH harder road to victory, taking down Batman and Simpsons in the last two rounds. How is Futurama winning though? Looney Tunes beat out The Simpsons, and I find it hard to believe so many people think Futurama is a better show than The Simpsons.

Gotta back Looney Tunes. Futurama is a great show, but it's humor is primarily designed for American nerds aged 18-45. Looney Tunes, despite its sometimes blatantly racist humor, has a multigenerational, multicultural appeal.

Which means Futurama should take this by storm

16-14. If you're holding votes in your pocket, throw them in now. There are no continues, my friend.

This is like putting "Gone with the Wind" up against "Revenge of the Nerds." Both are excellent, but there's obviously one that's timeless...
We'll meet back here in 75 years to see if people still know who Phillip J. Fry is.

And as a 24 hour or less member of the forum, I can see how that would be heartbreaking to you, since you've been here from the beginning just watching Futurama claw it's way past the competition.

This competition has destroyed my faith both in humanity and in the few of you I once had respect for. For shame, Sydlexia forums, for shame.

I would much rather watch Futurama, but I can't name it best cartoon ever. It'd be like naming Obama best president ever a year into his first term. Or voting "Dark Knight" the best movie ever on IMDB.com when it's only been in theaters a week. We cannot judge the contemporary through an objective, critical lense, because we do not have the historical context to do so.

Just tied it, 18-18. This is intense. Gotta give it to Futurama. Just think of "Jurassic Bark". That episode alone is enough to earn my vote.

Looney Tunes paved the way for all comedy cartoons, so I believe it deserves the win.

All of these together.
And yes, you can guess where my vote went.
