According to Blabbermouth.net, Ronnie James Dio, legendary frontman for Black Sabbath, Heaven and Hell, Rainbow, and Dio has been diagnosed with the early stages of stomach cancer:

While this is horrible news, they caught it early, so let's send some good vibes Dio's way so he can make a full recovery and live to rock again!

Dio was one of the leading reasons I got into Metal. Get better Ronnie, we love ya too much.

Seriously, I wouldn't wish cancer on anybody, even if they had the temerity to join Sabbath after Ozzy left as a vocalist.

Cancer cannot kill a metal god. Only drugs, alcohol or plane crashes can do that.

Honestly, the Dio years was where Sabbath was originally most commercially successful. Plus, Heaven and Hell was probably my favorite Sabbath album ever.

I dont know about anyone else but i would seriously consider it total pwnage in my books if Ozzy outlived Dio.
