Next up at the buffet table:
Teen Titans - Teenaged superheros led by Robin (yeah, Batman's sidekick) defend their city from evil. Strong Japanese influence in the animation, including in the theme song.
Duck Tales - Scrooge McDuck and his nephews have adventures around the world and at hone in Duckburg, centered upon Scrooge either adding to his vast wealth, or protecting it from others who want to steal it.
The Powerpuff Girls Sugar, spice, everything nice, and Chemical X combined to create this trio of superheroines, who protect the city of Townsville using extreme cuteness. Or violence, whichever is more fun.
Heathcliff - Oh, just fucking go here and read about it.. I'm not going to do the work when Syd already has. This is the second run with the Catillac Cats. The first one isn't even really worth mentioning.
So...eat up.

If Ducktales doesn't advance somehow, I will boycott the polls.

I'm the only one to vote Heethcliff? Come on people! That was 10 times better than Garfield, Duck Tales is good and all...but Heethcliff should be chasing closely.

^ I loved Heathcliff too! Still, no way I'm voting for that over DT.

I have no problem with Duck Tales ultimately winning the poll, it can win by 50% for all that it matters. But seriously, Heethcliff shouldn't be losing to The Powerpuff girls, which wasn't a terrible show but it doesn't hold a candle to Heethcliff.

Fixed. You'll note that your opinion isn't necessarily that of everyone else in the forum. If Powerpuff Girls is getting more votes than Heathcliff, than clearly more people here liked it, and bitching and moaning about it isn't going to change that. This is supposed to be a fun contest, why not start treating it as such?

I'm not trying to make it less fun. And yes...it is my opinion. I wouldn't even pick Heethcliff to go a second round after this.

I'm not going to point out the obvious here, so I'll just move straight to voting.
I voted Heathcliff, because I watched that show more than I did the PowerPuff Girls back when I was a wee lad. Plus, I didn't have Cartoon Network access over here for a long time, and when I finally got cable, they started sucking and dropped Toonami. Thus, fuck you, PPG. After you grow up, that is.

Might solve a mystery or rewrite history!
I really enjoyed DuckTales. While it never made me laugh like South Park or Family Guy (First 3 seasons) , I always found myself excited to watch and interested to see how things turned out. In the end when the competition is getting towards a winner, it might be hard to pick between comedy and adventure.
(For future pole titles, the title of the show is DuckTales without a space.)

For future corrective efforts, the word is "poll", not something strippers dance on.

If Teen Titans wins this, I will personally beat every single person who voted for it. How is it even in the running? That show is so fucking terrible.

Hard choice, but I had to go with PPG over DT, I liked DT as a kid, but PPG still makes me bust up laughing everytime I see it.

I don't think there will be any worry about Teen Titans advancing at this point.

Ducktales easily takes this round for me just based on the theme song alone. I never watched any of the other shows as they were long after my prime cartoon watching years so Ducktales would still win by default even if the theme song wasn't so badass.
Sidenote: It's too bad the Gummi Bears wasn't nominated. There's another 80s cartoon with an awesome theme song.

The same people did all the theme songs for all of those Disney Afternoon shows. For the record, it got 2 nominations, and mine was one of them.
Hmmm. Teen Titans is betting beat like a red-headed Hanna Barbera show.

And Teen Titans pulls off the sorriest performance in the entire competition so far. Pitiful.
