"The Office" this season has been stellar.
Last year was all over the place. The reason for this were the shorter arcs. The Holly arc starting the season was great. But Amy Ryan left and then the arc that lasted far too long of the Dwight-Angela-Andy triangle brought the show to a standstill. This reached it's zenith in the episode where the Office debated whether or not Hilary Swank was hot for an entire storyline. Also in that shuffle, the Pam in New York storyline ended before it was planned because even the writers knew it sucked and answered the audience's pleas.
Then came the Michael Scott Paper Company storyline which lit the show back up again. However, this too ended and the season finished with a crawl which involved the just-for-fun dance party episode and the worst finale "The Office" has had yet (which was still better than most episodes, but it doesn't hold a candle to the season 2, 3, and 4 finales).
This season however has taken all the right steps: Jim's promoted, Dwight's infuriated, Jim and Pam got married, etc. I'm almost worried that the season is shooting it's load too soon, because it's been one great episode after another. Even "Mafia" last week was great and only featured Jim and Pam as voice overs.
Now that the wedding is done, I assume the pregnancy will become their new arc. But what will the arc be for the rest of the office? Hmmmm...

Also this season, Ryan has been hilarious. He only appears in each episode for one or two lines but those lines always have my laughing the hardest.

Is it wrong that I think she looks like Andy when he was a kitten for Halloween?
BTW, last night's "Office" was hysterical. I seriously believe this could be their best season yet (the best so far, in my opinion, being season 2).

I was fairly disappointed in last night's episode. Sure, it was still pretty good, but they've set the bar pretty high for themselves and I felt a little let down after watching last night.
