Today is the 10th anniversary of the release the Nine Inch Nails album The Fragile.
How the fuck did this happen? Where did all the time go? Soon, we'll all be dead.

Downward Spiral was better.

I have yet to listen to this. I've mostly given up on Nine Inch Nails (for now, at least) after realizing that around half their material is boring quiet crap. They have some amazing songs, though. Even so I really can't judge The Fragile because I've only heard "We're in This Together" and "Starfuckers, Inc."

To think NIN is no more makes me sad... anyways, I have yet to listen that one.

Music is definitely the medium that makes me feel oldest and most out of touch.

TV makes me feel old.
I remember when CSI Miami came out. I thought, "great, another version of a show that doesn't interest me."
Eight years later, and it's still on.
Also NIN is still around.

They're just on a touring hiatus. "Last tour ever" is almost never true. :X

With very few exceptions, my favorite album by an artist is usually the one with my favorite song by them. The Fragile is no different; "The Big Come Down" has been my favorite NIN song for years.

As much as Downward Spiral was great (and it was fucking amazing), I really loved With Teeth. A more streamlined NIN, I think than earlier stuff. Either way, Reznor is a genius.

I liked Ghosts I-IV. It felt less like songs and more like music.

You wouldn't happen to be the Tek Knight by any chance? |

A NIN thread that I haven't posted in?? Damn.
I have so, so much to say.
Oh, and Cameron -- "The Big Come Down" *is* their best song.
