I know that there are a number of members on this board that happen to be musically inclined. I also realize that a number of these members are also influenced by videogames. My idea is that we unite our love for the two in order to create cover/tribute pieces for our favorite VG tunes. Be it chiptune (electronic on your computer), an acoustic guitar, a piano or whatever, just record and post and spread your love for VG music.
I am not saying that this necessarily has to be a contest (as I doubt this will get the support to reach that level) however, feel free to post what you have created for us to judge and enjoy.
I have made several covers and am working on more, all I have up for now is Bubbleman but should have some more up by the end of the week. This really doesn't have to be competitive, I just think it would be fun, even those who are not musically inclined can try, weee.
I'm down. You all can expect a bass cover fairly soon, I just need to decide which song to do. I might do an Ocarina cover too, but I think that got misplaced when I was in Forasmuch (old band).
I've got a black metelish version of the baseline from the dungeons in Zelda 1 I've been tinkering with over the years, if I manage to get it onto the computer I'll upload it here.

Haha, I, and I believe the rest of the Sydlexia community, would not stand for anything less.
Also, I can play an interesting rendition of the MM3 intro on piano, I think I am gonna record that when I get back to my place in northern VA with a piano.
Well if you ever feel like doing it just resurect the thread

I thought Hacker was looking unseasonably normal.
So I might record some tunes tonight. Zizzaria (bass player in my band) is camping til Saturday, but I'll try and get him in on the action. He's an amazing musician.
Maybe I'll borrow someone's camera so I can record myself throwing down some kazoo for you guys.

Also, damn your inability to use proper punctuation at the end of any of your sentences.
