Nice. I had a friend who almost always wore black plain Ts and blue jeans, and when he died, I wore that as a sort of tribute, and then it wound up becoming a daily outfit. But it lets me remember my dead friend fondly. I guess you gotta do whatever makes it easier to cope.
Unless you need a gigantic sig to cope. Come on dude.

What feels weird now is that since MTV is actually showing music videos, I'm watching MTV for the first time in about ten years. Weird.

So here's to you Mrs. Robinson. People love you more- oh, nevermind. |

That's because MJ is MTV!, Assuming those music videos are Jackson's.

I pretty much watched MTV all day because of the Michael Jackson videos.
In fact, my TV woke me up to VH1 while it was playing the end of "Childhood."

Waiting to hear if there's gonna be a public celebration/funeral. If there is and it's in LA, I'll be there along with a friend of mine. We had plans to go see his concert if/when the comeback tour went global, so I guess this is as close as we're gonna get to that.

wow, that actually was an awesome music video. Too bad they don't make them like that anymore. And it would be cooler to see during the Halloween. BTW, did he turn into a were-panther?

Ya, it sounds fuckin' awesome if you turn the HQ on.
He does so much subtle shit with this voice that fills out the song in places you didn't even realize needed it.
It's just ridiculous and perfect.
Specifically the parts like at 1:08 and the outro part from about 2:54 on, it pretty much gives me chills (not to mention how off the chain that little dance he cuts into at about that happens to be).

Ok, the Hitler video was pretty good.
Last night on coast-to-coast they had a guy "channeling" MJ. What a bunch of snake oil shit that is.

Watching some Michael Jackson videos on VH1 Classic today while I was on break at work. Watching his videos really makes me wish I could dance.
Also, they showed some random video from 2001 that had reclusive actor Marlon Brando in it. And also, Michael Madsen and Chris Tucker were there.
You know, Michael Jackson has several videos where people pick fights with him, and he responds by dancing with extreme severity. So I guess the Sega games were just a logical extension of that.

It's sorta MJ related, but I was watching The Simpsons earlier tonight. And instead of the usual couch gag, they played the old "Do The Bartman" music video, and had a graphic or whatever in memory of Michael Jackson.

Haha, I just saw that exact vid on VH1. It's "You Rock My World", I love the beat it has going on.
Also, watching his shit definitely makes me wish I pursued dancing, he truly was the king.

So apparently the public ceremony is Tuesday at Staples Center. I'm supposed to work midnight-8:30 that day but I'm gonna see if I can get off early to head out there.
