I found a bunch of really old VHSs in a dusty box. I absolutely forgot these movies existed, and the past few days of watching them have been like traveling back in time. (especially since a lot of them were recorded straight from TV and have commercials for long gone products in there)

PeeWee's Big Adventure

A Boy Named Charlie Brown

Tiny Toons: How I Spent My Summer Vacation

Bedknobs and Broomsticks

Ducktales The Movie

Cinderella (Betty Boop)

an episode of that crappy unoffical Ghostbusters cartoon

Christmas On Sesame Street

(to name a few)

I really didn't expect the Tiny Toons movie to be as funny as it was. Things aren't always as great as you remember them, afterall, but that one still has it. And I can safely say that A boy Named Charlie Brown is the most depressing cartoon I've ever seen.

Forgotten movies, anyone? anyone?

Oh man, the Tiny Toons movie.

My favorite part was definitely when Plucky and Hampton finally got to Happy World Land and all they did was ride the monorail.

Poor Plucky.

My favorite line/scene in "How I Spent My Summer Vacation" was that chainsaw maniac shouting out:

"WHERE'S THAT DUCK!?! HERE DUCKY DUCKY DUCKY!!!!!!"
    Good times.

Forgotten movies? I offer this superhero musical classic:

H- holy crap... The most disturbing part (after the old tyme racism) was the fact that there wasn't really an ending. The kid just lived with Santa forever.

Reminds me of the montage they show at the end of Bamboozled. I had good laugh at the baby bank part.

I'm partial to Maximum Overdrive and Firefox (the Clint Eastwood movie). They're not really forgotten so much as nobody talks about them (err...), but I always found them rather enjoyable watches.

Maximum Overdrive was the one with the AC/DC soundtrack, right?

It sure was! My dad's got the soundtrack (Who Made Who) on vinyl and compact disc.

It also had Emilio Estevez, murderous big rigs, and the woman that does the voice of Bart Simpson.
