Oh . . . ummmm . . . Did a moderator movie this thread? I only put it in the general forum because technically it's not 100% movie plots, #1 is more of a TV plot . . . but that's cool.

Heck yeah, Lone Gunmen is awesome, and this crazy foreshadowing was freaky as anything. Being in Australia though, it wasn't aired until AFTER 9/11, so when I first saw it it resulted in some frantic Googling to figure out why anyone would make an episode of the show about this.

I'd take Woot and EVOO over the ones in that article any day.

I'm not surprised by #13 and #11. It doesn't seem odd for them to add a word from Harry Potter in my opinion, either. If I recall correctly, they have terms from Lord of the Rings in the Dictionary as well.

threequel is NOT a word.
And "grrrl"? That's so 1995.
So many of these are retarded. It's bad that "ginormous" is a word.

If we're talking about the books, then I cannot agree with you.
I haven't read any of the books, so I can't have my own opinion on the matter.

It's sad enough that blamestorm even exists but . . . Meatspace? Fuck the prediction of the Terminator or Matrix series, the machines have already taken over because we can't even process in our minds the word "real world", that's how depended man has become to the machines. The next century is nothing but a downhill slide from hear.
Meatspace? It sounds like a really bad porno.
You know whats even sadder, Firefox's spellcheck is saying that all the words from that article, are incorrect.

I don't mind the terms prebuttal and blamestorm, but I don't think they should've been added to the dictionary. Everything else can get lost back in the niche communities from which they came.

"Riffage" should be defined as "lethal guitar riffs; see- Sepultura's Slaves Of Pain"

They already included "D'oh" and maybe "Meh" already.

These piss me off. Shitty puns should not be in the dictionary, nor should already existing words with suffixes put on the end. And words made up for books or movies are the last things that should be in there. That is all.

The word "muggle" is widespread?
"Grrrl" should not be a word.
"Threequel"? Why not just call it "the third movie in the series"?
The same goes for "mini-me" and just calling it "miniature version".
Wait a minute, these are all just really insipid puns. Fail.
Oh, and just a heads-up, everyone: if you wear a Nickelback t-shirt, I am going to commit "lookism" against you.

When I read the thing about EVOO my eye started twitching for about 10 seconds.
