In "The End is the Beginning is the End" by Smashing Pumpkins; I believe the line is "the sky cannot ignore us" but it always sounds like "this guy cannot ignore us" and I imagine him pointing at some random dude walking by as he sings it.

What is this song all about?
Cant figure any lyrics out
How do the words to it go?
I wish youd tell me, I dont know
Dont know, dont know, dont know, oh no
Dont know, dont know, dont know...

Now Im mumblin and Im screamin
And I dont know what Im singin
Crank the volume, ears are bleedin
I still dont know what Im singin
Were so loud and incoherent
Boy, this oughta bug your parents
Yeah

Its unintel-ligible
I just cant get it through my skull
Its hard to bargle nawdle zouss(? )
With all these marbles in my mouth
Dont know, dont know, dont know, oh no
Dont know, dont know, dont know...

Well, we dont sound like madonna
Here we are now, were nirvana
Sing distinctly? we dont wanna
Buy our album, were nirvana
A garage band from seattle
Well, it sure beats raising cattle
Yeah

And I forgot the next verse
Oh well, I guess it pays to rehearse
The lyric sheets so hard to find
What are the words? oh, nevermind
Dont know, dont know, dont know, oh no
Dont know, dont know, dont know...

Well, Im yellin and were playin
But I dont know what Im sayin
Whats the message Im conveyin?
Can you tell me what Im sayin?
So have you got some idea?
Didnt think so -- well, Ill see ya
Sayonara, sayonara
Ayonawa, odinawa
Odinaya, yodinaya
Yaddayadda, yaaahyaaah
Ayaaaaaah!

After hearing this too many times on the radio, I must revive this thread.

Does anyone else hear Elton John sing, "Hold me closer, Tony Danza"?

To this day, it still sounds like "thunder chief" to me. When I first heard the song as a kid, I thought it had something to do with Native American Indians. Confused

That wasn't Weird Al, that was Bob Rivers.

I think Bob Rivers also did that awful "Marijuanaville" song, poking fun at "Margartaville".

Yeah, Weird Al has a rule to not write parodies beyond a PG rating. So anything about sex or drugs is most likely not by him.

Does anybody here have a Ross Rifle?

I thought I heard Garm sing "let's do this" in one of Ulver's songs of Nattens Madrigial, which is odd, seeing the production quality and the fact that he's singing in Norwegian Confused

I have trouble telling what the refrain is on Guns & Roses You Could Be Mine. It sounds like:
Oh You could be mine
But you're way out of line
With you're bitch slap rubbing and you're cocaine tub
You get nothing done

Metallica- "One"

"Tied to machines that make me be."

I used to hear it as:
"Tied to machines that make me pee."

I have no idea why I thought that was significant, it's not even that funny, but I just decided to include it since it's on subject.

The Unforgiven, by Metallica, is often nicknamed "Nous pondons des oeufs" (We lay eggs) by french people. The correct lyrics are "New blood joins this earth".
Yes, it somehow manages to sound like that, and personnally I find it much easier to hear than the real lyrics.
I had to listen to the song 5 times to be able to hear them correctly. I had some trouble with the pronunciation, and I couldn't stop laughing.
