It's a Vietnam scene. When they're walking through the grass and Forrest kinda talks about Lieutenant Dan, when he could like hear the land mine.


And I totally forgot about Tuesday's Gone in Dazed and Confused! Pretty much every scene in that movie works with the music, like Sweet Emotion during the credits, Paranoid while they drive around smashing mailboxes, and Highway Star at the diner (right?), but Tuesday's Gone is the best. It also worked really well in Prefontaine and Happy Gilmore.
