Had to vote randy rhoads, great guitarist, and from one or 2 roadies I worked with when I was one a little in college, he was a great guy as well

I can't believe this man is losing...for the love of God, he is dead, let him win!

You do know that Slash has died before... right?
Legally dead... then back from the dead.

Randy Rhoades is alright, but you can't really call him best guitarist ever when the bulk of his work is quite small, compared to the rest.

Would I be an ass if I said that these "Best (X)" polls are getting tired? I mean, this poll is rather meaningless, I am still going to think Clapton is God regardless, and every guitarist minus Angus is of amazing talent, IMO.

I went with Slash, but it was really, really, really tough. Any of these guys would get my vote. I expect to see Hendrix win, though, if (when) he shows up in a later bracket. I also demand the inclusion of Billy Gibbons, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and maybe Dimebag Darrell.
