I love Mary Elizabeth McGlynn. I'm obsessed - Melissa Williamson, whatever. She sings the songs of "Silent Hill". I absolutely have to have every song she records, but that's a double edged sword. On one hand, she's hardly recorded any because she's a voice actress, voice director, and translator... but on the other SHE'S HARDLY RECORDED ANY!

So outside of Silent Hill and some remixes of those songs, there wasn't a whole lot to collect. It was pretty much the beautiful "The Journey Home" from Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War. But then I saw on Wikipedia she recorded one more song: "Danger Zone" (Fire At Will Remix) from Top Gun: Fire At Will. Silly me, I thought this was a new game. Not so. This was a crap flying simulator from the 90s. We're talking Michael Giacchino "Lost World" quality here (props for anyone who knows what I'm talking about).

Unfortunately, "Top Gun" really didn't have much in terms of an OST so the internets didn't seem very reliable... This song is rare. So rare even McGlynn herself hasn't heard it! I did find a site that allowed you to download the game for free. Alas, my XP was too advanced for it.

All seemed hopeless until I found a Russian website/version of Rapidshare that claimed to have it.

Well, it is basically a cover of "Danger Zone" from "Top Gun", just with McGlynn singing it for a PSX game. The sound could be better, but as a completest the song could be McGlynn driving over cats and I'd still love the bejesus out of it.
