The first Resident Evil was pretty good. Silent Hill was alright. Hitman was better than expected...

Mortal Kombat?! You're on drugs bro! Maybe if there had been an epic fight scene between Scorpion and Sub Zero, then maybe we'd be in business here. Or heck, even if all the best characters from the game just didn't die after one scene, that alone would have made it twenty times better.

It's just a head shot of Kristin Kreuk. They used the same picture for the Japanese promo poster:
As far as I know, there have been no full body images of her in Chun Li's signature blue outfit yet. I'm not sure if she even wears it in the movie. All the other promo pictures showed her wearing different clothes.

For what it's worth, Steven deSouza apparently has seen most of the new film, and says that it's "better than the original."
Ahhh, what a suspension of hubris it must take for the directer of the Street Fighter movie to acknowledge that another film exists somewhere that is better than his own.

I don't think Kristin Kreuk can pull off chun-li's look properly . . . hell NO human on earth can pull the look off. Chun-Li's thighs alone are thick as yellowstone trees.
I'm not denying Kristin would pull the role off and she is attractive, but can she pull the look off. Maybe i have been staring at Mai too long. You know if their is a shower scene, then i might forget the whole thing.

Nah, he just heard that they will focus on Chun Li and that they weren't forced to shoehorn as many characters into the movie as he was. If that alone is enough for him to know that the new movie will be better than his, then I doubt he had any illusions about the quality of the original. I'm too dumb to recognize irony.
