I really can't stand Staind. Whiny voiced crap. To me they are almost as bad as Nickelback, but not quite as pathetic.

Nickelback is a Kick in the nuts. I hate Chat kroeger or whatever the fuck his name is. His vocals kick me in the nuts. Who the hell are Staind? I don't remember since I don't listen to modern music.

"Outside" was ok. Never thought to compare them to Nickelback.

I was thinking of current rock bands that suck ass, it seemed like a fair comparison.

I hate them both with all of my being, but I can't say my life would be better without them because if they didn't exist, there would be two other shit-tastic bands that sound just like 'em ready to step up and take their place.

Where's the "I hate the both equally" option?

Something sucking as much as Nickelback? No such thing. Listening to a Nickelback song is about as pleasant as being mummified in barbed wire and having your genitals eaten by a giant venus flytrap.

You can't. If you were to be tortured in the form of listening to one of these bands non stop, which would you prefer?
You don't get the option of death.
I know its hard, but dig down deep inside and realize the true evil that one of these brings.

I don't mind Staind. They aren't a favorite of mine, but I can listen to them without my skin crawling. Nickelback on the otherhand...

Staind is actually alright for the sort of music they do. The problem is that "It's Been Awhile," Is just WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY too overplayed. Seriously. Fuck.

So here's to you Mrs. Robinson. People love you more- oh, nevermind. |

Staind was great until every goddamn song started sounding the same. Now I can't tell the new stuff from the mid-range stuff.

Has anyone heard Nickelback's new song? It's like when Cher jerks off Bryan Adams, and he explodes all over 'Third Stage' era Tom Scholz's face...that's what it sounds like.
And Celine Dion's in the corner beating her chest and howling like an ape.

Both bands suck equally. This is not an opinion, but a fact. Look it up sometime.

Ironically, Offspring was great when every song sounded the same. It was when they started doing difference stuff (Like that piece of shit "Pretty Fly For a White Guy") that they started to suck.

There's no compromise here, people. You can't say you like one song and everything else sucks or that one album was ok. If you ever enjoyed a single note from either of these bands, you deserve to die.

Their low D and low Db are particularly horrendous.

I;m assuming your talking about guitar tuning and not key signature, right? Hence the "low". I would think it was odd if their songs in D were for some reason worse than other key signatures, but the low tuning makes sense. Kind of.

My mom likes Nickelback or at least she did back when I remembered her music taste, but I don't particularly care for either band.

Tuning and key in a sense, since they generally tune down lower and tend to use their lowest note as the tonic.

Funny thing, it is. Well, at least "Mummified in Barbed Wire" is. I couldn't find anything specific about having your genitals eaten by a giant venus flytrap, but apparently there's a band called Vomitron that has a song called "Penis Flytrap", so I guess that's what it's about.

I can say this, I don't hate Staind. Are they in my top 10, 20, 50, 100 even, no. That being said they aren't absolutely horrible, and having met Aaron Lewis he is a genuine nice guy. Also, anyone wanting to try the, you must die now if you like anything from either band thing, bring it on bitches!!!
