Metal Gear Solid, but only if Kurt Russell were to play Snake.

Awesome.

How about a 40k movie? That'd be sweet.

If you want 40k I say they should do the old D&D adventure i6 aka the first Ravenloft adventure.

Aye. But Commissar Ciaphus Cain is great. The books would make good movies and would probably sell quite well, what with the humor, action, and sexiness* of it all.

* In theform of Amberly Vale. And the evil sorceresses too I guess

I know it would probably be terrible if it actually happened. but I think a nice, hand-drawn "serious" rendition of FF6 would make my life complete. They would have to use the original score but have it be orchestral, how it originally would have been without hardware restrictions.

No more video game movies. Ever.

Want a video game movie? Make up your own damn characters like some movie called Play Stat or something.

I'm still appalled by the Silent Hill movie. Maybe the next one will be better?

In the meantime, I think an Earthbound movie might be interesting, so long as the actors playing the main characters were the right age, they at least looked like the main characters, and the movie would be rated higher than G.

The original Dragon Quest.

Also Guilty Gear. Given Hollywood's pristine track record with turning fighting games into movies, I fully expect a Guilty Gear movie would turn out awesome.

Half-Life or HL2, but I'm sure it'd be directed by somebody like Uwe Boll or another equally terrible director.

Pac-Man would be a good one. How can somebody ruin something that had no coherent plot to begin with? Yes, the more recent games have a plot, but they're crap, so they don't count.

OK, give me some of that........

I'd like to see Final Fantasy IV become a movie. That's my pick. Screw the new wave.
Cecil is a legendary character to base a movie on. To be as perfectly abstract as possible, I could say to make a movie about 'Secret of Mana'.
