What in high holy hell is wrong with John Conner!?!

If I was him, me and Term-a-hotty would have a T2-like conversation that would go something like this:

ME - Why'd you do that?

TERMY - Because you told me to.

ME - You mean you have to do whatever I say?

TERMY - That is one of my mission parameters.

ME - Take off your... Twisted Evil

Didn't she say that she was under orders from John of the Future and John of 2007 is not that John "yet". So the Weird Science sex-capades wouldn't work.

If the terminators are supposed to simulate humans down to the letter, then her clam can get wet. If it couldn't, then in the future the resistance just could check for female terminators by checking the moisture level.

Of course, female terminators can get wet... It's just cold as hell. I figure if Arnold was hung like a horse in T2... Twisted Evil

Alright, episode 3 review:
TERRIBLE! Worst episode of the show yet. Proof: There wasn't even a big action scene at the end. Evil

But mostly because of the suicidal high school student subplot. I mean, really? Is this really how you want the show to go now, Josh Friedman?

Episode 4 review:
My interest in the show is definitely wanning because it's finally hit me how useless this show is. The Terminator universe really doesn't need any expansions and the longer this show stretches itself, the more futile it all seems.

On the plus, side we did get action, John's becoming more of the hero he'll one day be, and Summer kicks ass on this show. Lena's really just a badass chick in a leather coat. I really think she's missing the emotional strength of Linda Hamiliton. In this episode my mind was wandering in thinking does Lena want an Emmy for this? Why did she accept this job? She's pretty much the female Magnum P.I. or T.J. Hooker in terms of television credibility right now.

The subplots of the show are extremely lacking in engagement. I've stopped caring about the self repairing robot, because he/it still seems SO uninteresting. Why should I care about it? It's not like the T-1000 or anything, it's a basic T-800-ish model! What makes this one so special!? The cop subplot, same annoyance.

Pretty much the show needs some compelling reason to be on the air. I felt it in the first two episodes, but now it feels like we're rolling off the cliff Summer dumped the truck off of ("problem solved!").

How many more episodes until they lose me, I wonder?

I didn't watch this weeks. I'd have to download it... Is it even worth it?

Since I spent a good part of the last four years watching teen dramas, I'm going to have to disagree. As a teen drama, Terminator is extremely lacking. There's teen elements, especially in the God awful third episode, but it wasn't enough to solidify the series as one. It's more like a superhero show with a teen or two IMO.

Problem is, by episode four there was nothing fresh about it. And-- know what I just convinced myself not to bother. I might catch up later if it gets renewed for next season. I'm out.

Reading that makes me agree with you. The show is so dam slow. I keep half expecting his robot chick to ask John if he can teach her how to love. Or something.

I like the idea of Kyle's brother, but I am wondering where they are going with it?

What do you do if your Terminator tries to kill you and you barely manage to get away alive by disabling her? You reactivate her and give her a gun! Uh, no you don't, idiot. You burn that bitch. And if you're a writer for a TV show and the only way you can think of to get your characters out of a corner you wrote them in is to have one of them act like a complete moron, you should probably think about a rewrite.

Well, at least he cut his stupid hair.

God, now there is two ultimate reasons to watch:

1. Summer Glau
2. Shirley Manson

I dunno, I didn't like Manson at all. Garret Dillahunt plays the most convincing Terminator on the show, as far as I'm concerned.

Question: How bad are the ratings for Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles? -- Dean
Ausiello: Armageddon-like? An SCC insider tells me that if the show's numbers don't start to climb, Fox is unlikely to order any additional episodes beyond the 13 currently in the pipeline. At Saturday's EW pre-Emmy bash, Thomas Dekker remained hopeful that they could hold off doomsday at least until the end of football season. "We¹re up against Monday Night Football," he sighed, "which is tricky because we have a lot of football fans."

I think putting a show aimed at the 18-29 male demo up against both Monday Night Football & WWE RAW is pretty much suicide for a show.

They need to bump it to Tuesdays or something.
