As I said in the other thread, I'm simply genuinely incredulous. It's not like Poison, who, although I like them, I can understand hating them. It's not like Rush, who I really don't care about either way, but if you're a fan, you've gotta understand why some people aren't. It's Aerosmith! The kings of Wayne's World! What could you possibly hate about them?

The only thing I can think of is that maybe these haters are so young that all they know is stuff from 'Armageddon' (which I've never even seen).

Unfortunately I only have a casual interest in Aerosmith so I can't relate. I do like "Dude Looks Like a Lady", "Love In An Elevator", "Eat the Rich", "The Other Side", "Deuces Are Wild", and "Shut Up And Dance".

I like Aerosmith's earlier, say pre 80's definately pre 90s, material. After that they turned too much into a poppy chick band for me to enjoy them. Train keep a rollin is good, I forget the names of the rest but I like the 70's stuff better than their newer stuff.

Only song I liked from them is Walk This Way (the one with Run DMC), obviously. And even that is mostly because that version was mostly Run DMC's.

Never really got into them, or want to.

They're over-rated and their music is dull and boring (even their best songs aren't necessarily fantastic). Two reasons right there.

I love 'em. They are one of my all time favorite bands. Especially their early stuff. They may have gotten progressively worse. But I would credit a lot of that to just changing with the times.

maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan you people suck.

Aerosmith is one of the most solid rock groups on Earth. Right up there with AC/DC, Zeppelin, Van Halen, and GNR. Damn you people.

Aerosmith is mostly great. The Armageddon soundtrack sucks, Nine Lives sucks, and Just Push Play is largely mediocre, but other than that, they're easily the greatest American hard rock band out there. And come on, in a 30+ year career, not every album is going to be a winner. They're the American equivalent of the Stones.

I would agree with that. In fact, I used to get Steve Tyler mixed up with Mick Jagger. But yeah, they definitely are comparable to the 'Stones.

See, Syd and Rock God Ross know about Aerosmith. "They're the American equivalent of the Stones" perfectly reflects my own sentiments.

I like them. I just don't think they are the best band ever. Still, if they have a song on the radio, I'll usually listen.

I don't 'got no hate' for Aerosmith but when their music is played to loud I find it annoying. It sounds like a lot of screeching; otherwise IDC.

I'm so bananas I'm showing up to your open casket,
to fill it up with explosive gases,
and close it back,
with a lit match in it,
while I sit back, and just hope it catches.

Blow you to fragments,
laugh,
roll you, and smoke the ashes.

Don't like them personally. If I listen to 70's blues rock, I gotta go all in or nothing, and Aerosmith is too poppy for that.

So here's to you Mrs. Robinson. People love you more- oh, nevermind.

I grew up on 'em, but I definitely got bored of 'em for awhile. But listen to Honkin' On Bobo. It's all blues covers, it's just killer. And Toys In The Attic is an amazing album.

Toys in the Attic is my favorite one. My dad used to have the record. Sweet Emotion is one of my favorite songs ever.

I'm glad you are such a big aerosmith fan, because i need some help find a song:

http://www.seanbaby.com/nes/egm10.htm

Seanbaby makes reference to a song with lyrics "Feed the Rage! Feed the Rage! Feed the Rage!" (I imagine it as "Feed feed, da rage! Feed feed, da rage!")

Is there such a song that possesses such awesome lyrics or was Seanbaby on a cocktail of speed, meth and smack.

I don't know what the hell that is. I don't remember that in an Aerosmith song. I wonder if he is talking about Eat The Rich and just misunderstood the lyrics. That is the only thing I can think of unless I just can't remember a song that says "Feed the Rage" in it.

"Eat the Rich" kinda sounds like "Feed the Rage". Sort of.

Its the only thing I could think of. So I listened to it and I can kind of see where somebody who didn't know the song (or the title) could mix up the words.

I can't hate Aerosmith for two reasons:
Revolution X
Armageddon - That's right, fuck you.

"If you will not tell me, I will hurt people!!!" -Nuclear Man

"Do you hear? The alpha and the omega. Death and rebirth. And as you die, so will I be reborn!" - Skeletor

I'm a sad panda, because Feed the Rage sounds like a great aerosmith song. Oh sorry, i mean "Feed Feed, da Rage! Feed Feed, da Rage! Feed Feed, da Rage! Feed Feed, da Rage!"

Yah, the Sean miss heard, too bad, his interpretation is cooler sound Sad
