If you've ever answered if there was any way that Qix could suck any harder, the answer is yes. At some point, the Japanese developer Kaneko realized that the concept of Qix could be easily be turned into a softcore porn game. Instead of a generic playing field, the player would attempt to shade in naughty pictures of women. And so, the Gals Panic franchise was born in 1990. That's right, before the internet was in every home and host to thousands of X-rated websites, desperate Japanese perverts were willing to pay good money for the chance to see mildly arousing nude pics. Once Kaneko started making money with this shit, another Japanese company called Comad created the equally pointless Miss World '96 Nude. The saddest part is that pornography aside, these games are actually much more engaging than Qix ever was. But unless you have some sort of incomprehensible fetish that involves earning your masturbation material, I still wouldn't recommend these games.
