In the early days of Disney, Disney was awesome. They had epic movies, epic musicals and lots of movies. But now we have people like Joe Jonas, Miley Cyrus and that other chick that are ruining our music industry. We can't turn on the radio without hearing the foul sound of Miley's voice. Please Discuss.

I think there's a difference here.
For one thing you didn't hear "Under The Sea" and "I Can't Wait to be King" on mainstream radio. There's also the fact that Disney had no investment in the pop-star market. But if they did back in the 70's, I'm pretty sure people would have been complaining about it then the same way you are now.

Disney has observed Japan and its highly popular highly disposable pop princesses and realized that they still have room to grow as it pertains to being a monolithic entertainment industry.
They're getting better at it, though its not getting better.

It's all just a new phase in the long-time marketing involved in pop that tries to make inoffensive music that sells to little kids. Jonas Brothers and Miley Cirus are just the latest versions of The Partridge Family and New Kids on the Block.

ah, 90's era disney songs, loved them all, played under the sea in marching band, and after every game on the bus back to school, everyone would sing (incredibly off key) Make a Man Out of You led by the seniors...
god i'm gonna miss that

Disney has ruined their OLD songs too. A Disney DDR was just released for the Wii, and when I heard about it, I was kinda of excited. Finally, a Wii DDR that didn't require the Wiimote in additional to the dance pad, and with songs I actually knew. I looked at the track listing, and it seemed pretty solid. Then I heard the songs on YouTube... terrible. They were all remixed and unrecognizable. It made me sad.

Corporations starting out as artistic innovators and ending up as vapid cashgrabbers.
Well I suppose that's capitalism for you.

Disney's cartoons uses to have catchy memorable theme songs and the cartoons were pretty good to. Now we have these 'real acting' shows with pop stars a plenty. Disney turned it's back on what made it good and now only appeals to a small demographic alienating for it's past fanbase. Seriously, why again are the Jonas brothers famous? Every person i have met has express contempt towards them . . . then again i really don't talk to pre-teen girls so . . . okay i just answered my own question.
I think the music industry needs to stray from pop and 'American idol'ish ways of finding new talent, this reality show shit is getting old and the pop wagon has been old since the 90s.

Eisner was removed as CEO due to the direction he took the company in, particularly for taking most of the money out of Disney's animation division and greenlighting embarassing pieces of crap like "Home on the Range" and all those direct-to-video sequels. Cinderella 2!? Cinderella 3!? UGH.

Don't think so.
But ever notice how Will Eisner and Walt Disney signed their name the exact same way?

New shows under Michael Eisner vs New Shows under Bob Iger:
As you can see, Eisner wasn't all bad.

Jon K did a better commentary on this than I could, but from what it seems, Disney was headed for complete failure if they didn't grab up Pixar. Anything released in-house by Disney well into the '90s was becoming stale. It was pretty much all the same stories and even recycled animation, and you can only do the same messages in all of your movies before it gets stale and predictable. Disney seems to be in a money-grabbing state, holding onto whatever trend will rake in the cash. What they will do with that cash once Miley and Jonases start consummating and lose their will to keep up with the stale pop is the true question.
And it's their choice, really. Walt D was too conservative (in cartoonists' terms) to want to innovate and adapt, and I really couldn't imagine them faring if he were to live for 200 years and run the company.

Eisner was good for the company when he first took over. When he took over, Disney wasn't making new movies. They were just re-releasing their classics into theaters for easy money. He was the one got them BACK into animation with projects like The Little Mermaid and Beauty & The Beast. But somewhere along the way, he got lazy, stupid, or crazy. His 21st century vision for Disney for horrible.

Yeah, he was forced to stepdown by a coalition of shareholders led by Roy E. Disney, the son of Walt's brother Roy O. Disney. He was replaced by Bob Iger.

So does this mean I don't have to deal with the crap they are bringing into the radio anymore? Or is Bob Iger just the same as the last?

That crap is making them money, so it probably won't end.
Roy Disney had Eisner ousted for two main reasons:
1. He wanted to terminate Disney's relationship with Pixar for no apparent reason
2. He turned Disney's own animation studios, once a beacon of innovation, wonder, and magic, into complete crap. What was the last good movie Disney did? Mulan? The Emperor's New Groove?

I'm sorry, I'm misreading you. Do you mean Eisner wanted to end the relationship with Pixar and ruined Disney's studios, or Roy?

Eisner did.
After Eisner was kicked out, Disney bought out Pixar.
