Never hiked or camped it, sadly, but I did get to visit once, and took a light plane flight through it. e That was awesome--the canyon's amazing. What was your favorite part?

to be honest, i think we underestimated how tough it would be, as we chose to go down one of the harder trails (new hance trail), and the first two days we were hiking during the hottest part of the day.
my first favorite was finally finding the colorado river that first night, knowing we were finally done for the day. i had feet full of blisters and had been seriously wondering if were going to survive.
one day we spent several hours in the shade at a small spring (page spring, a.k.a. miner's spring), so that may be my a close second. water wasn't plentiful down there, and that sun was damn hot.
i would totally do it again, despite cursing the canyon while i was down there.

No, but my boss fromy my restaurant job went with a bunch of her friends and went rafting on the Grand Canyon back in 2007 for about a week. I'd really love to go there someday. The rafting trip I took was pretty sweet and I could only imagine how a Grand Canyon trip could be.

I remember stopping by the Grand Canyon when I was maybe four, and there was a section with railing overlooking a cliff; I held to the railing while I put one foot over the cliff, and it wasn't until then that I realized how far of a drop it was. I started crying, and was taken back to the car. I really wish I could go again, though, I'm sure I'd enjoy it now.

After their divorce, Roseanne Barr told the tabloids that Tom Arnold had a small penis.
In his opening monlogue on SNL, Tom Arnold responded by saying that even a 747 looks small in the Grand Canyon.

Yes. EXACTLY like that.
I'm not allowed outside anymore in the summer. The beach will never be the same....

And Triple H said the same to Stephanie McMahon a while ago.

I was supposed to go hiking into the canyon when I was there, but I was sick as a dog when we finally got there so we didn't go. I am sorry I didn't get the chance, but the way my stomach was on that trip it was for the best we decided not to.

It's actually a giant pine cone with an impulse drive. And a sweet Tekken 3 arcade game in the lounge.

I believe the sweet Tekken 3 arcade game was in the lounge of the X-2. Sadly, the X-1 does not have a lounge.
