Ace Frehley: “But if you listen carefully to the ‘Shock Me’ solo you can hear me make a mistake about two thirds of the way through. We could have fixed it in the mix, but I said to Eddie [Kramer, Alive II producer], ‘Screw it! Leave it in. The run sounds cool, so who cares—it’s rock and roll!’ ”

Which is pretty honorable considering how much Kiss have overdubbed their live stuff over the years.

That list is ok, a tad too "classic rock" for me. I would say something like this but it would have been nice for a Priest or Megadeth solo in there. Come to think of it, there's no Black Sabbath in there either. Iommi wrote some damn good solos.

There are a lot of what if's in life Donny. What if I hit you really hard in the face, knocked yo shit to the back of yo skull? What if I....had you girl gargle my nuts? The fact remains, you are a fuckin mutant.

I read that about 2 weeks ago. I've almost forgot what was on there. But I remember thinking that it was a pretty good list.

It's pretty neat, but no Cliffs of Dover?

Crap, I missed it. That's what I get for skimming then...I think Voodoo Child should be higher though.

Nice to see them break the mold by not just using singles everybody knows. Would have been nice to see them toss out a few of the artists listed more than once in favor of some newer stuff. I don't think Darrell is really worthy of more than one mention.

So here's to you Mrs. Robinson. People love you more- oh, nevermind.

Alive? Really? I mean, sure, not only is Alive a great song in itself, but Pearl Jam is one of my favorite bands, but I really don't find the solo particularly phenomenal.
