i thought this was going to be about the Fortress movie from (1993). The futuristic one where the machines take over, where only the guy and his wife live and the guy's wife give birth on her own.

I remember seeing that on HBO back in 2003. Was that the movie where they made the prisoners swallow some bomb like device and if they got out of line it would detonate? Also where these automatic cannons blasted a huge hole in one guy?

I only saw the last part of it, when they were escaping. I remember the warden was a robot and the AI was the real main villain.

Didn't get get chased by somebody they thought was their friend and he was in a huge vehicle?

The ending does have a crazy truck try to run people over.

Welp, you guys sold me. I just found out it's by the same director of Re-Animator, which is on the t-shirt I'm wearing as I speak. I gotta return some movies today and I think I'm going to go find that Fortress.

Yeah, that is the movie then. I remember then trying to remove the intestinal bombs with magnets, that looked painful. They then placed the bombs someplace and started acting up so the bombs detonated.
