I have always hated The Spaghetti Incident?
Reason 1: It is a cover album
Reason 2: It was released at the death of the original GNR lineup
Reason 3: It isn't as finished as any of their other albums
Reason 4: It is a stupid fucking title
But today, I decided to listen to it.
*SURPRISE*
Most of it sounds decent!
My reasons for hating it weren't based on the music, they were based on my dissatisfaction.
It is by far the worst album in their catalog, but perhaps it shouldn't be blacklisted like it has been for over a decade.

Thank you GP!
It is their least awesome album, but it's Guns N' Fuckin' Roses, so it's still awesome. I definitely agree with it being the least complete though.
But I fuckin' love it.

It has a T-Rex cover which morphs into a Soundgarden cover, that right there is win.
What sucks about it is that it is mostly a collection of covers that the band performed on tour during the UYI era, but some of the best covers that they performed during that era are missing. Most notably:
Bad Time (Grand Funk Railroad)
It's Alright (Black Sabbath)
Dust In The Wind (The Todd Rundgren song, not the amous Kansas song of the same name)
Only Women Bleed (Alice Cooper)

The version of 'Knockin' On Heaven's Door' on Live Era is from the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert, and I really really wish they had included the 'Only Women Bleed' intro to it. I am happy they included 'It's Alright' though. But personally Syd, I don't think any of those would fit the rest of 'Incident?'.

I've only heard SOB from the album, it is a cool song but i've been wondering if the whole album is worth getting . . . it is GNR but even the greats can trip some time

The album starts with, of all things, Since I Don't Have You, and ends with a very mellow Charlie Manson song. Anything would have fit on it.

'Look At Your Game Girl' is a secret song, it technically doesn't exist. But if you were to listen to songs 2-12 (with the exception of 'Memory', but that song gets kinda rockin' anyway), it's a really heavy, fast album.

Marilyn Manson claims Axel got the idea to cover that Charles Manson song from meeting him backstage at a NIN concert or something.

Axl got the idea from his half brother, Stuart Bailey, who was performing the cover with his band.
