I was give this show a 5 star rating , but the expereince itself was more of a 3. There was this huge fat drunken fucktard who thought it would be hilarious to yell "FUCK YOU MOTHER FUCKERS" at the band at every opportunity. Not to mention this guy was right behind me some of time. Thankfully he dissapeared after awhile. This older woman actually got pretty annoyed with him and kept telling him to shut up, and then starting hitting him!
That's more or less the only major complaint I have. A big pro was that the sound was the best it has ever been at the Bluebird. Usually if you're standing at the front of the stage the vocals get drowned out in the mix, but tonight they were crystal clear!
Here was the set:
CELEBRATION DAY
HOUSES OF THE HOLY
THE WANTON SONG
THE OCEAN
TANGERINE
HEARTBREAKER
RAMBLE ON
BLACK DOG
IN THE LIGHT
SINCE I'VE BEEN LOVING YOU
TEN YEARS GONE
BRON-Y-AUR STOMP
THE SONG REMAINS THE SAME
NO QUARTER
OVER THE HILLS AND FAR AWAY
============================
STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN
One final thing, In The Light may sound more arty than heavy in the studio, but live, imagine someone driving a train spike through your head! It is that lethal.
