It is real, and I am excited a bit, but I do have a continuity problem. How is he leaving to be with another woman? What about Loretta? I hope they cover that. Probably won't though, just like all of the terrible retconning on the Simpsons. Or maybe it's a fox thing. First few episodes of That 70's Show Donna had a little sister, then boom, she's an only child.

September 09, eh? It might or might not make it. We'll just have to wait and find out. Will it be any good? That depends on how you feel about Mr. MacFarlane right now. Personally, I think Seth should go on hiatus, and then return with an extraordinarily new show, not this "Cleveland" shit.

Loretta cheated on Cleveland with Quagmire, and Cleveland left her because of it. The reason they got rid of her was cos Alex Borstein (who does most of the female voices on Family Guy) didn't like doing the voice.

Wow, it's like they took peter's family and put them through a race-o'matic machine. Seriously, Cleveland has a modestly hot wife, a teenage daughter, an overweight son and a toddler who obviously acts more older then his age. Day-zah-voooooo! The griffins.
Although there are some modification: Cleveland's wife is not as slutty as peter's (oh come on, we all know Lois is deep down), his daughter has a pop star look (rather then a boardline tom-boy look), his son might be intelligent (the glasses) and his toddler son's ultamte goal may not be to conquer the world but just enough hoes to meet a quota. I don't know, i gave american dad a chance and found it entertaining.

A friend of mine actualy tried out as a storyboard artist for the show. If it weren't for the fact he lives nowhere near the production studio he might have the job now.

Don't they usually relocate people for shit like that?
Also, if I were going to bet my money on the success of a show, it wouldn't be on this one.

I really used to love Family Guy but a few episodes this season were just horrible. I mean there were several that were nothing more than cut-away after cut-away.

yeah, that's really weird. With the lack of fresh storylines, you would think they would bring them into the fore in order to spark some creativity.

Another thing I don't really understand is why Cleveland? He is one of my least favorite characters on the show. I find him more annoying than any other character. A Quagmire spin off would have been a better choice in my opinion.

With all the race jokes in Family Guy, I think they are trying to go the other direction. Just a thought.

Anyone catch the series premiere? FUCKING AWFUL. Chuckled once or twice. Mostly though, it was tedious and vaguely racist.
I can't stand Cleveland Junior. His voice is fucking annoying, and it really bugs me that his shirts are too small in almost every scene.

Just another milking of the cash cow that is Seth Mcfarlene and Family Guy in my opinion. The show may grow into something but really all it will be is a somewhat toned down version of Family guy, with a lot more African American references and perspectives. Really hard to judge by the first episode as it was more or less a montage to get to a somewhat realistic starting point for the series, I will give it a shot though.
