Hey, Ross, since you are the local Canadian rocker, maybe you can help me
I've been looking for some Kick Axe and Lee Aaron in the states, no good so i was wondering if Canada might still be selling these artists in a best buy or fye?
And i have to say, Canadians are awesome with metal and hard rock, any band suggestions?
Links, pics, vids . . . I shall post these when given the chance

I'm just responding to the second half of the post, involving recommendations. Obviously, the almighty Rush should be mentioned first in any discussion involving Canadian rock. Beyond that, pretty much the only stuff I can recommend is metal, mostly of the death/thrash variety. Here are some to get you started:
Slaughter (not the glam band), Voor, Gorguts (haven't heard too much, but the stuff off "Considered Dead" is good), Cryptopsy (except for the new album), Voivod, Razor, Strapping Young Lad (again, haven't heard much, but what I've heard is good), Exciter, and 3 Inches of Blood.
Darkthrone also had a song called "Canadian Metal" that was a tribute to a bunch of Canadian metal bands, it's worth checking out.
This might help you out: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_bands_from_Canada

Yeah, enshin would know more about metal bands than me, but there's this one band from Chilliwack, New World On Fire, that everyone should check out. They're kinda hardcore punk/metal, I dunno how to describe them, but hook me up with your e-mails and I'll send you some.
Um, actually on that note, you might like Alexisonfire, they have some pretty killer metal tunes.
I've never really heard anything from Kick Axe, but I think Lee Aaron (METAL QUEEEEEEEEN!!!!!!) is probably very findable at HMV or Future Shop.
Also, there's apparently this spectacular metal record store in Vancouver that I should check out. It'll be a while before I'm out there, but I'll keep you in mind

If you've seeen transformers the movie you know them:
they had to change their name because kick axe sounded too much like kick ass. Almost 30 years later now there is a comic flying off the shelves called kick ass, censorship is never consistent.
I do recommend Kick Ass, I really like Hellraisers and Dreaming about you.

Protest the Hero is pretty fucking brutal and they are Canadian I believe. They crossover a lot of genres.
