Does anyone else like these guys? It's obvious most of you are die hard heavy metal fans, as am I really, but I really like these guys, and I think they deserve a shit load of respect. In an age where all modern music is pretentious and snobby as can get, its very refreshing to see people not giving a shit about exposure or music videos.

I'd heard a bit about them in a Guitar Player interview with Nels Cline, who had just joined Wilco. Having read this topic, I decided to check out some videos, and I can say it's pretty good. The song I'm listening to (Impossible Germany) is a pretty mellow jam, one I can see myself listening to if I just want to relax. I really like Nels Cline's guitar tone during the solo. So clean and calm. I'd be very interested in looking up more of their music.
What would you recommend for someone who would like to get into them?

Nice to see something besides a metal topic on here. I kind of like Wilco. I'm half on half off, because they have too many songs which meander around with being quiet or making weird ambient noises, which is very annoying to me (I find most of Dark Side of the Moon to be fucking intolerable). The songs I do like are amazing, though.
