wait, the movie's called: "Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li"

to make up for Taboo and the absence of ken and ryu. they better have Chun-li fight naked . . . or atleast in skippys.

yes Chun-Li is the star of this movie obviously, but i think the director just don't want any rabid nerdy backlash by adding Ryu to the story, since he is what the fanboy view as Chun-Li's love interest. by not including him, the director eliminates any argument of whether or not Chun-li and Ryu end up together . . .

What one f-in minute, that whole thing would have given the film more publicity then, free freaking promonting the film all over the interent:

It's not like Ryu is a minor character. I mean yes Nolan was successful in putting the Joker in the second movie. But this shit is like having a batman movie without batman! Ryu is the fucking mascot for SF, the goddamn poster boy! And with the Fan Fics a plenty, you could just rip off ideas for a relationship between Chun-li and Ryu.

Hell, not including him already labels your movie as: "Steaming Shit!" I don't even give a crap about SF but even i know the karate guy in white with the red bandanna that spams energy balls is a primary character in the freaking series.

Thats it, Kristen Kreuk better be naked. No see-through nighty, no skippy bikini, 100% naked to make up for this shit. Watch though, nerds online talk about how pissed they are long enough for them to have the release date burned into their brains then last minute the director will be like: "Ha Ha, fooled you, we are putting Ryu in. As BACKGROUND!"

Except Capcom made Guile, Chun-Li's love interest in the Anime. In fact, I don't think Chun-Li and Ryu ever met in the film.

I've seen and read many reviews on the Van Damn abomination that is Street Fighter, my favorite has to be this one:

I never saw the movie but after hearing how bad it is, it sounds like the kind of flick that lands under: "it's so bad it's good"

I remember seeing a commercial for it to play on weekend network TV and the most memorable line was:

"Raúl Juliá in the greatest role of his career!"

That is bullshit, he was awesome in the Adams Family.
