I feel so cheated that I didnt get a chance to play this game as a kid, now it seems so outdated in certain aspects

I keep trying to play this game. I get about 2/3 through and stop. I have no idea why, but I have tried like 3 times. I think I beat it when it originally came out because I seem to remember the boss.

If you beat Chrono Trigger, you would most certainly remember it. I so vividly remember the ultra epic, multi form, final Lavos boss.

Lavos' Theme is awesome too. I remember first hearing it and thinking it wasn't like a last boss theme at all.

For clarification, I'm talking about the first phase of the boss, not where he's screaming at you. That scream is scary...

Anyway, his theme sounds sad almost. There's closure in his theme. Which after all you've played feels very fitting.
