The owner of Arby's shaved roast beef sandwich restaurants is buying Wendy's, the fast-food chain famous for its made-to-order square hamburgers and chocolate Frosty dessert, for around $2 billion. Wendy's is not amused.
This is what happens when you charge more for your food... YOU CAN BUY OTHER PEOPLE'S FOOD!!! Col. Sanders, the war is beginning.

Arby's is ok as long as you like roast beef lunch meat warmed under hot lights and sold at a jacked up price. I like Wendys, the four corners on the burger are like four extra bites!  They have shitty vegtables though, but that's pretty common among all the fast food chains.

Noooo! This is horrible news. While Arby's might taste good, they're way too expensive. Wendy's is my favorite fast food joint, and the prices are usually reasonable, even if they have gone up slightly lately. Damnit all.

The first I had Arby's chicken sandwich, I thought it was the best i'd ever had. It was almost perfect. Two more times I had it with a similar experience. ITS NEVER FUCKING BEEN THAT WAY SINCE. I can't even get the fucking thing without it being hard as a rock. FUCK ARBY'S!!
I do like their Marketfresh turkey sandwich though. Besides that, I don't care for it. Never been huge on their roast beef.
Wendy's is like fast food royalty. Because of them, we have the late night window and all white meat chicken (not sure why it took that so long to catch on). The Junior Deluxe is the best burger you can get for a buck since Burger King took the Whopper Jr off of their dollar menu (I think it may still be on it, but isn't actually a buck anymore, like the Rodeo Burger)
I have a bad feeling Arby's may fuck up Wendy's. If they do fuck it up, I hope Melinda Lou "Wendy" Morse sues them for the name and starts it back up exactly the way it was before Arby's fucked it up.

I'm one of the few members on this board that actually likes Arby's. I'll eat anywhere but Jack in the Box. I only went there once when I was six, the burger tasted like vomit and piss.

Jack in the Box is the best, lots of random shit on the dollar menu. FYI the taco's are so horribly gross that they're actually good in a strange way, meat past that looks like beans and a freaking slice of melted cheese inside because they never bothered to get grated cheese, pure genuis.

I live in Canada, our dollar menus are like $1.69 menus, and we don't have Jack In The Box, White Castle, or stuff like that. And all Chilliwack has is McDick's, BK, Wendy's, and....two more McDonald's'

There's a time and place for Arby's and Wendy's for me. Same for McD's, BK, Taco Hell, etc. I don't really hate any of them. The only fast food I can't stand are the foreign foods like Panda Express. Taco Hell would quote too, but it's just so damn close and I've been eating it for all my life.

and taco bell is not really foreign food.
now if you are out here in the SW, and you eat filibertos or betos or ralibertos or whatever other bertos is out there, then thats foreign food and its only good at 3am when you are drunk and mexican food sounds good. be careful next morning.
