Today would have been the 80th birthday of Fred Rogers of Mister Rogers' Neighborhood, had stomach cancer not claimed his life in February of 2003.

In memory of him, here are some classic clips.

I love the way he disarms congress. He just talked to them the same way he talked to the children on his show. And, it worked.

That either says something about Fred's abilities, or it says something about congress...
